Lift the lever on the CPU socket to allow installation. Gently place the CPU into the socket. It will only fit in one way so try until it just “falls” into the socket, lower the lever locking the CPU into place. Apply a small amount of thermal compound (just a small dime size dab in the center (I highly recommend artic silver) and place the heatsink on top of the processor. Hook the mounting bracket onto both ends (they are just little clips) and plug the fan into the nearby CPU fan jumper (the connector will only fit onto certain plugs if you can not find it refer to your motherboard manual). Connect the power supply to the Motherboard with the atx connector.
