How To Build A Computer - Free Videos and Tutorials

Pre-step Process and Warning:

I will try to keep this section nice and short. First of all you are working with electricity so you must be aware at all times where your hands are.

-DO NOT wear anything wet and have anything wet or damp on or around the computer you are building or working on.

-DO NOT put your fingers inside plugs touching pins.

-DO NOT take apart any preassembled part..ie...video card, power supply, cd-rom...etc. You should wear short sleeves when working inside of the computer.

-You must wear an ESD wrist strap (see below and see tools section for picture) when you are touching the insides of a computer. ESD straps are inexpensive and will save you much hassle. I have seen far to many electronic parts go bad because someone did not wear proper ESD equipment.

-DO NOT work on a computer that is plugged in. Finally we will not be responsible for damage done to your computer or parts or you as a result of you working on your computer but if something does go wrong we will assist you in any way we can.
