How To Build A Computer - Free Videos and Tutorials


 Parts List:

  1. Case (we recommend the tower not the one that lays flat on the ground)

  2. Power Supply

  3. Motherboard (If the motherboard comes with onboard sound then you can skip number 9 the sound card)

  4. CPU (Pentium III or better is recommended)

  5. Hard Drive (25-100GigaBytes Recommended)

  6. Cd-Rom Drive

  7. Floppy Drive (3 1/4)

  8. Video Card

  9. Sound Card (only needed if you have no onboard sound)

  10. SDRAM or DDR Ram

  11. 2-4 small fans

  12. Computer Thumb screws (should come with your parts)

  13. IDE cables (should also come with your parts. You will need one for you hard drive and Cd-Rom. The cable should have 3 connectors on it...one on each end and one in the middle.)  Note that your motherboard may have SATA connectors in which you could use SATA instead of IDE cables

  14. 56k Modem Card (optional)
